The Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers opens and becomes the leading property in Abu Dhabi. A new brand, The Residences by Rotana, is launched and Rotana opens its first property in Bahrain and another in Iraq. In addition to Amman Rotana, which boasts the title of being the tallest tower in Jordan, another six hotels are launched, including two in KSA, one in Bahrain, two in Qatar and one in Congo. More development takes the Rotana brands farther afield with the inauguration of two properties in Istanbul. Rotana opens its first property in Amman, Jordan and its first in Oman. First property launched in Dubai. Rotana has grown to 13 properties around the region, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Egypt and Lebanon. A year of growth, Rotana opens its first hotel in Muscat, its second in Erbil, and another Centro in KSA. Rotana continues its growth with 3 new hotels in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, UAE, and 2 in Jeddah and Riyadh, KSA. 2 hotels also open in Istanbul, Türkiye, for the 1st time on the European side. Rotana opens 2 hotels for the 1st time in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Rotana also takes over a 5-star hotel in downtown Baghdad, Iraq. Rotana enters Marrakech, Morocco for the first time and manages the iconic 5-star Palmeraie Resort in addition to opening other properties in Al Khobar, Doha and Dubai. Milestones
