Rotana complies with the legal requirements as defined by the UAE Federal Commercial Companies Law No. (2) of 2015) and other legal institutions regarding corporate governance. We are also subject to the Ministerial Resolution No. 518 of 2009 concerning Governance Rules and Corporate Discipline Standards. General Assembly: The general assembly is the highest ranking governance BOD in Rotana. It elects the members of the board of directors. Initially, the Rotana founders have appointed the first board of directors for a period of three years. The assembly is responsible for making decisions on important corporate issues.
